BOARD UPDATES

Published Jun 04, 2010

To All Pinery Glen Homeowners, We just would like to update you on the new Board latest tasks performed. Property Management Company Hired. The Best Management Team (TBMT) is the Pinery Glen new management company. TBMT will take over effective July 1st, 2010. The company was carefully selected from 5 different companies that were interviewed by the Board. Mr. Bob Hite, TBMT president, and Terry Jarrett are both former executives of one of the largest property management companies in Colorado. Both of the principals and managers have extensive experience in the property management industry. The Board verified the business references and personal background of the company and its principals. A package with the new management information will be sent during June. The Board is very excited about hiring an experienced, professional, and customer service oriented management company. We invite all homeowners to come to the next Board meeting to meet our new managers. Pool Opening. The Board decide to renew the contract with Perfect Pools for this season. The pool contract was renegotiated which saved the community $7400.00 from last years expenses. The pool was opened a day earlier this last Memorial Day weekend. The Board purchased (6) new unbrellas and all the cleaning supplies for the pool at a cost of $1033.00 verses $2000.00. We are still looking into purchasing additional tables. Maintenance crews have been working to repair the pools water heater. Enjoy the pool and let the Board know how we can improve your pool experience this summer ! Flower Planting The flower planting by the homeowners was a complete success. The flowers look great and the HOA saved approximately $2,000. Landscaping The Board was able to renew and renegotiate the landscape company contract, keeping pretty much the same service with a $8,000 savings for the HOA. Landscape improvements will be analyzed and will be posted in the website. Please send us your comments and landscape suggestions. Fence Staining The Board received (5) bids and have negotiated a savings of about $1000.00 from the previous bid. The Board has hired a painting contractor and the fence staining will start in the next couple of days, weather permitting. The late windy conditions have been the main deterrent to start the staining work. Savings Overall the Board has managed to save close to $20,000 in the first month of activities. We would like to thank for the overwhelming support we have received from many homeowners. We appreciate the recognition and encourages us to continue to work hard for our community. We would like to apologize about the formatting of the notices, we are waiting for our IT company to contact us so that this can be resolved. The Board Team
